Turns out that the discomfort in my shoulder and some of my climbingfail last week come from...
overuse at work and the accompanying tight pecs, tight serratus, and tight scalenes. tightens up the shoulder and makes for pain and less movement.
massage last night, an hour just on the shoulder.
the good news, such as it is, is that now that I'm not working at Horrible Job, my stress is lower enough that the Bad I'm experiencing is much better than the Best I ever felt physically at Horrible Job.
that's an improvement. more stretching and more massage and probably less climbing for a couple weeks. rats!
